The rooms were huge and quiet, had down pillows. Location: the hotel was near hiking, restaurants/shops, and generally getting around and mountains and the local, upscale, high-end outdoor mall with several fine dining options, souvenir shops, and art galleries. Dessert restaurant How Sweet it Is located 9 mi away was a nice surprise.

The trendy boutique hotel was unique. The a deluxe room I got was complete with a hacienda style, sodas plus beer. The food was good - a huge variety of options. The venue's location was central, right next to the art district. I found nice Burger King by accident, it was not too far away from the hotel.

Well-appointed and large room with central heating, a personal safe, and pay television, and magnificent view of the garden and beautiful Sedona Sunrises from it. All in all amazing and stunning setting adjacent to restaurants in the heart of Sedona, and the downtown area.

We had a delightful stay at El Portal. The unique design of each room, created by different artists, gave it a charming and homey feel. The courtyard with the fire pit and beautiful flowers was the perfect spot to relax in the evenings. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and snacks, and the breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended! I'll definitely recommend this hotel.
